Google DriveToday, Google has announced the launch of their wildly-rumored Google Drive; an online storage similar to that of Dropbox. You can store up to 5GB of scanned real estate contracts, listing photos, flyers, and other marketing for absolutely nothing. Need more space? They have paid plans for that too.

You can choose to upgrade to 25GB for $2.49/month, 100GB for $4.99/month or even 1TB for $49.99/month. When you upgrade to a paid account, your Gmail account storage will also expand to 25GB.

Google is launching it today with native platforms on the Android operating system through Google Play. On the desktop, there are also installers for both PC and Mac; IOS apps for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod are in the works. Google Drive also has a built in collaboration tool, where you and anyone you allow access can continually update a document and the latest version is continually updated.

Also just released is that GMail is increasing their complimentary email storage to 10GB. I don’t know about you, but the space I already had was more than enough. 10GB is definitely icing on the cake. It looks like Google is out to make this a Google holiday with all the good news, which is all more than welcome.
